International company is looking for Construction Managers. Candidates who have required qualification and good experience can apply.

 Job Description :

  • Monitor, inspect, document, and advise on projects as required.
  • Visit’s construction sites daily.
  • Directs the overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.
  • Monitoring and coordinating site activities of the Client and subcontractors in his area of responsibility, in support of area Manager.
  • Establishes assignments for Construction Superintendents for various work areas of construction operations, monitoring progress and recommending corrective action as necessary.
  • Verifies measurements, construction adequacy, and work being completed IAW the plans and specifications.
  • Read, interpret, and decipher all construction documents (schedules, specifications, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and related documents).
  • Prepares periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher-level management and clients.
  • Analyze procedures to identify deficiencies, monitor project phasing and ensure adherence to approved safety standards.
  • Observe and inspect ongoing construction work, oversee construction record keeping activities, recommend change orders.
  • Review proposed change orders submitted by construction Contractors, prepare and submit reports, and keep a daily log of all activities, weather conditions and work quantities.
  • Monitors and ensures the correction of non-conformance report items and other issues supporting QA/QC compliance.
  • Report to the Project Manager on project status including identifying associated risks and issues arising from the project delivery

Requirements :

 

  • 10 year’s degree in engineering.
  • 5 years’ experience on large infrastructure and marine projects involving design and construction works with knowledge of codes, design manuals and construction practices.
  • 5 years’ experience in construction of oil & gas storage terminals
  • Certified PMP is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret complex contract documents including plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations on significant engineering problems, and review drawings, specifications, and installations for constructability.

  • Advanced negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, conduct presentations to the Client, and interface effectively with a diverse group of professionals.
  • Advanced proficiency in relevant software including Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word,Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to team build, organize staff and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work well within and lead a project team of mixed nationalities.
